On December 6,
2011, Dr. Dawn Comstock, principal investigator at CIRP, was recognized at the Youth
Sports Safety Alliance’s summit for her contributions to education, research
and legislation in the field of youth sports and injury surveillance. As a
result of her continued efforts, Dr. Comstock is considered one of the
country’s leading experts on the topic, and her studies have had wide-reaching
impact and attention across the national landscape.
