DR. SMITH PARTICIPATES IN FIREWORKS PRESS CONFERENCE

In collaboration with Prevent Blindness Ohio, Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of State Fire Marshal, and the Ohio Eye Care Coalition, the Center for Injury Research and Policy (CIRP) participated in the Fireworks Safety Press Conference at the Ohio Statehouse on June 29, 2010. Gary Smith, MD, DrPH, and director of CIRP spoke at the press conference to caution and educate Ohioans about the dangers of consumer fireworks.
